Dear all,
Is the Girvan-Newman Clustering algorithm of the current version of visone already able to consider the weights of the links?
The tutorial of Daniel Weidele and Tom Brughmans in early 2015 mentions that the implementation of the GNC in Visone is only able to consider the presence or absence of links. Is that still the case? I have tried to implement it in a complete network with weighted csv values (without removing links) and it gave me some results, but not really miningful.
I will appreciate any insights in these regards.
Thank you!
Mireia

The Girvan-Newman Clustering in visone does not support weighted links.
I would try out the Louvain Clustering in visone, which (although not
part of the original paper) allows weights on links.
