Due to the effort to switch the dates for the send off, we don't have Elizabeth or Thomas for tonight, and since we were still waiting to hear about monday, I haven't done promoting. So unless there is an outcry, I don't foresee a send off tonight
I have Tulane Claimants Scheduled for Monday at 3p. Location- TBD, but trying for Loyola. Will be court room dress so we are getting in the correct mind set.
I'd like to say let's all try to meet with Prof. Garda sometime today or tomorrow to discuss any relevant issues we should be preparing to defend against from the last email. That way we can formulate everything over the week to have monday be a full speed last run through.
Next wednesday is logistics day. We'll be checking our binders, talking about travel plans, and just getting ready for the trip.
Schedule
3/22-23- Meet with Prof. Garda if he is free with your teammate to discuss anything else pending with your argument
3/26- CLMT v Tulane @ 3p
3/28- Logistics meeting
3/29- Leave. On a jet plan.

Second, for Monday it sounds like only respondent is facing Tulane. Maybe I
have that backwards. Will I be the arbitrator? Should I get professor
Kiser to simultaneously moot the side that is not facing Tulane in a
different room? I think it would be useful but leave it up to you guys.
Third, I'm happy to meet with anyone/everyone over these next 2 days but if
you have nothing new then don't feel compelled to come see me. That last
email I sent is really for Jessica's benefit as I think she will be the one
facing possible left-field type arguments from respondents on the
substantive issues. It's quite possible that any of you could face the
"CISG does not apply" argument - but that one is easily defeated so just
take a look at point #1 in my last email.
I guess we will not see each other tonight at a send-off, which is kind of a
bummer, because I wanted to publicly thank you for your hard work and
dedication. You guys have exceeded my wildest hopes for time & effort put
into the team and I wanted to publicly acknowledge it (even if the audience
was going to only be my daughter and the two recruits). To say I'm
incredibly impressed is a major understatement. Thanks for your tireless
effort on this team, you have gone well above and beyond the call. I've
also got some ginormous certificates for each of you that I was going to
give out tonight, but I can hand those out Monday or if you come see me
today or tomorrow.
Professor Garda
Claimant is facing Tulane on Monday at 3p. If you and Professor Kiser want to arbitrate, that would be great. let me know if that works, and I will tell them we have arbitrators.
I'm pumped for monday, I think it will be great for us to see respondents of another team, and for Claimant to face off against a formidable opponent.
After that, we just have wednesday as our planning day, and then we are OFF TO EUROZONE!!
