REST API?

Hi,

Is there some web based API built or planned for the data/info in the
expense DB?

It seems that providing easy web/ReST APIs can be a real inflection
point to help encourage mashups.

I'd be interested in helping to build such an API.

Absolutely, there will be a REST API. That's part of the point! :-)

I'll be working on posting the code for the data access interface to
the DB (not the visualization app) in the next couple of weeks.
