Dave gave a great presentation at the functional programming exchange 2012 held at the Skills Matter offices in London.
Watch it If you want to see DPP in a suit OR have a laugh OR understand more on Visi.Pro bringing functional programming to the masses.
Also worth watching is Andres Löh's Haskell for embedded domain-specific languages. He made some interesting points about Haskell generally and hinted at the possibilities of leveraging type systems for better user interaction.
Access to data sources was a recurring theme.
If you have an interest in FP most of the presentations are worth watching but less on topic for here.
