Good noon sir....i am trying to understand the working of the vishwa
middleware.... there is enough detail is given for how the user can
write the programmes for the middleware...but no documentation or
detail is given about the middleware
It will be very kind of u if u please share some information about the
algorithms used in middleware an devloping processs...
best regards

Hi Ashutosh,
The published conference paper of Vishwa is available at http://scholar.google.co.in/scholar?hl=en&q=vishwa+middleware&btnG=&as_sdt=1%2C5&as_sdtp=
It will give you some research-level details on Vishwa. Please ask if you have further queries.

Sincerely,
Harisankar H

Good Morninng Sir,
Sir i read the research paper and find out about the various
components like problem manager , scheduler component and monitoring
component etc. Yet i have some douubts in mind that when i read over
the internet abut implementing grid computing architecture then the
various types of technologies come in front of me like RMI in JAVA ,
CORBA , SOAP web service etc...so i am wondering that either u have
defined ur sockets by urself without using hte existing techniques
like RMI or CORBA .
so please tell me about which techniques and algorithms u have used
in building the middleware ..???

and sir i want do work in the field of optimizing the grid so is
there any guide or tutorial for the begineers that would guide me in
building a good scalable and fault proof grid computing middleware for
the internet .

Best regards
Ashutosh

Dear Ashutosh,
The current version of Vishwa is built using the basic java sockets(no RMI etc.). The different components you mentioned are implemented as normal java objects. Since you mentioned that you want work on optimizing the grid, you could consider working on some ideas related to Vishwa. For this, you might need access to the source code of Vishwa. Can you give more details of yourself like university, course etc. so that we could proceed further on this ? Were you able to run the sample programs available in the website ?

Sincerely,
Harisankar H

Sir,
I am pursuing B.Tech in information technology from IIIT-Allahabad .I
am in 6th semester. And sir, related to the grid computing i
explored the source code of BIONIC a bit and read about various middle
wares like GRIDGAIN technology , GLOBOUS toolkit etc.
I tried to implement the grid computing architecture using RMI in
which client code can be invoked by using an applet but due to some
security issues the applet couldn'd work,
Then i moved to the web service SOAP and AXIS to built a server client
computational model and in the mean time i have found your project
over the internet.

I have successfully ran the prime number calculation using 4 system in
lab.
But matrix multiplication and square tasks are generating errors of
insufficient nodes.

Best regards
Ashutosh
