The Kåñëa Consciousness Movement Is Based Upon the Chanting of the Holy Name
Srila Prabhupada: The simplest process of purification is to assemble in congregation and chant the holy names of God. This is called saìkértana and is the basis of our Kåñëa consciousness movement.... The age we live in is called Kali-yuga, the age of forgetting God. It is an age of misunderstanding and quarrel, and the people's hearts are filled with dirty things. But God is so powerful that if we chant His holy name we become purified, just as my disciples have become purified of their bad habits. Our movement is based on this principle of chanting the holy name of God. We give everyone the opportunity, without any distinction. They can come to our temple, chant the Hare Kåñëa mantra, take a little prasäda as refreshment, and gradually become purified. The Science of Self-Realization

This year we’ll be celebrating the World Holy Name festival from 24th sept to 4th oct, 2015.
We have planned for many activities in temple premises and many at individual level… kindly see the attached files… plz forward to all connected to you…
We specially request you to kindly inspire and encourage your counselees, program participants, well wishers and friends to take part enthusiastically in this festival in ways mentioned in the attached doc:
1. We wish to utilize this opportunity to inspire devs to take to the chanting process more seriously and to introduce many new people to the yuga dharma – the process of chanting the Holy names.
2. We wish to encourage and inspire devs to get max Harinam books written by new people. You can inspire your friends, etc to fill atleast one book and return. Any dev who gets atleast 10 harinam books filled from new people will get a special prize.
3. Top 64 Devs chanting max rounds in Japathon and all devs chanting more than 64 rounds on 24 Hr Japa day will also be given individual prizes.
4. Japathon cards, Harinam books and HK MM stickers are are now available at NVCC information centre and SS RKB information centre and we request you to collect it for your group or the centre where you are preaching.
