918 OM dakShiNaaya namaH .
This word also means the same as the previous nAma. Still as it is different in form, it is not considered a repetition.
Or the root 'dakSh' has the meaning of movement and destruction. According to this, as the Lord pervades everywhere and destroys everything. He is called dakShinaH.
Or it can mean One who is liberal. The term is popularly used for the 'gift' presented to the priests after a ritual as their fee. This giving must be done in a spirit of large-heartedness, liberal charity -- so that very large-heartedness of mind itself is the Lord.
One who has infinite kindness and charity towards all good people and One who is thus ever-ready to liberally give away His endless benevolence is SrI nArAyaNa, the dakShiNa.

367 OM daamodaraaya namaH .
One who has very benevolent (udaara) mind because of disciplines like self-control (dama).
Or one round whose waist (udara) yashoda tied a rope (daama).
Says Udyogaparva 70.8: 'damaad daamodaro vibhuh' -- the Lord is daamodara because He has dama (slf-control).

285 OM shasha-bindave namaH .
The word means one who has the mark (bindu) of the hare, that is the moon (shasha).
The Lord is called so because, like the moon, He augments all creatures.
The bhagavadgita 15.13 says: 'pushNaami chaushaadhih sarvaah somo bhuutvaa rasaatmakah' -- As the watery moon, I nourish all herbs.
