Microsoft Data Execution Prevention error - FIX

What we found is that DEP is considered an ‘add-on’ in Internet
Explorer.

If you go to Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab, At the bottom,
there is a reset button.

Make sure all windows for IE are closed except for the one you’re in
and click the reset button.

You will get a pop-up to reset your settings, click ok. Once
completed, close IE and open a new one.

For VISCO, you then need to change the Active X settings back since
they were reset.

Basically, since it’s an ‘add-on’ the reset, disables them.

You can manually disable add-ons, but DEP does not appear in the
window
