Fall is always a busy time . . .

And I’m happy to share with you places where I have been and will be showing my art.

What began this Sunday, November 13, with an Opening Reception at Studio C Gallery in the Santa Fe Art Colony, Downtown Los Angeles, is a Pop Up Exhibition where you can find 2 of my art works showing through December 3rd. You can see my pieces “In my fog” and “Comfort” along with 11 other women artists in this show. The exhibition is in conjunction with L.A. Art Tours, Art Walk and will continue to be part of their special tour events, as well as on view during live drawing sessions, and during their regular hours Sat/Sun noon-4pm & weekdays by appt. You can find out more about attending through the Studio C Gallery website below and through this Facebook invite page:  https://www.facebook.com/events/217500022018963/

Secondly, since November 3rd, you can experience my Solo Show “Incessant Wallpaper and other Art Thoughts” continuing through November 28th at the Fresno Arts Council. My series “Incessant Wallpaper” is my newest work consisting of 9 brand new pieces including “Surrender to the waiting world” which you'll find on the Facebook invite page, and I’m also showing my award winning series “human:nature” in this exhibition. Recent months have kept me very busy creating new art for this show and you will be the first to see it. You can visit The Fresno Arts Council in Downtown Fresno during their regular open hours Monday-Friday 10am-2pm or later by appt.  Find out more through this Facebook invite page:  https://www.facebook.com/events/1266337673388356/

Thank you to the Merced Multicultural Arts Center for including my artwork “Mistaken Identity” in their Dia de los Muertos show. This exhibition was coordinated as a cultural exchange through Arte Americas, Fresno. The Reception was an amazing gathering. http://www.artsmerced.org/

Meanwhile, I continue creating new art in my studio, and continuing my regular travels to LA for art business with galleries that already show my work and meeting other galleries that are interested.  I also continue as a member of an Artist Critique Group with fellow Los Angeles Art Association members meeting at various LA locations.  Sponsored by the LAAA/Gallery 825, we meet monthly to critique our work and plan for a future show at an LA Gallery where a professional art critic will review our work and our show will open to the public for a reception.  We recently stepped up our meetings to finish in December and will have our culmination exhibition/reception and critique at TAG Gallery at Bergamot Station in December.  You’ll see an invite for that coming later.

I invite you to visit my Artist Member Page with the LAAA/Gallery 825 here:  http://gallery825.com/artists/i/imperatrice_a.html
or you can see my art and find out what I’m doing through my website: www.aileenimperatrice.com
as well as through regular postings on my Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/aileenri

Most importantly, I continue my work to sell my art, (which helps me pay bills, purchase supplies and to be able to attend art events in LA).   ALL my art works are FOR SALE.
Please feel free to ask me about any of my work if you are interested.
And remember, I am always willing to work out payments with you.

Thanks for reading,
Aileen
