My artwork “Mistaken Identity” continues to be on exhibit with the Dia de los Muertos show at the Merced Multicultural Arts Center. This exhibition was coordinated with the help
of Frank Delgado as a cultural exchange through Arte Americas. The Reception
will be on Saturday, October 29th 4-9pm.
I’m planning to be in attendance.
The Merced Multicultural Arts Center is located at 645 West Main Street Merced, CA
95340 and is open Tuesday-Friday 11am-6pm, Saturday 10am-2pm and Other hours by
appointment.
November will open with my Solo Show
at the Fresno Arts Council and Opening Reception on Thursday, November 3rd starting
at 5pm. I hope you will come by for
the reception and see my newest work.
I’ve been very busy creating new art for this show and you will be the
first to see it.
The Fresno Arts Council can be found in Downtown Fresno at 1245 Van Ness,
Fresno, CA 93721.
Thanks as well to
everyone who continue to share with me that they have seen me on tv in the Cal
Viva Health commercial done by Jeffrey Scott Agency/Advertising. Being
paid to play myself/an artist; not a bad gig! If you haven’t seen the commercial yet, you
can find it here: https://spaces.hightail.com/receive/RJwNN
Meanwhile, I continue
creating new art in my studio, and continuing my regular travels to LA for
art business with galleries that already show my work and meeting other
galleries that are interested. I also
continue as a member of an Artist Critique Group with fellow Los Angeles Art
Association members meeting at various LA locations. Sponsored by the LAAA/Gallery 825, we meet
monthly to critique our work and plan for a future show at an LA Gallery where
a professional art critic will review our work and our show will open to the
public for a reception. We recently
stepped up our meetings to finish in December and will have our culmination
exhibition/reception and critique at TAG Gallery at Bergamot Station in
December. You’ll see an invite for that
coming later.
Most importantly, I continue my work to sell my art,
(which helps me pay bills, purchase supplies and to be able to attend art
events in LA). ALL my ART works are FOR SALE.
Please feel
free to ask me about any of my work if you are interested.
And remember, I am always willing to work out payments with you.
Thanks for reading,
Aileen
