Aileen’s January, February and March 2018 Art Update

While I work on new art in my studio, I am also preparing for a different way to share my work - in a live performance show.  My husband Tony and I are performing a storytelling show during the 2018 Rogue Performance Festival all about our recent Kidney surgeries.  You are invited to “That Kidney Show” and will have 4 chances to see us at Fulton Street Art, 1118 N. Fulton St., Fresno, CA 93728 in the Tower District (right next door to the restaurant Veni Vidi Vici).  This is a show we’ve been working on for the last few months, now giving us the chance to tell some of our poignant and humorous behind the scenes stories to a larger audience.  I will be sharing some of my art work that pertains to our stories live during the show.  Also, you’ll find that the image on our attached postcard is my art piece “We had some good times, but they’re gone”.

My health since my kidney donation surgery continues to evolve and my career has had a bit of a slowdown since I am a one woman business, but I continue to remain optimistic and glad that I could save lives.
