Aileen's December 2016 Art Update

Now we near the end of 2016, and I have one more show of my art.

Monday, December 19^th, I, along with my fellow members of our LAAA Artist Critique group, will have some of my newest work critiqued by an LA art critic in the morning hours into the early afternoon and then open our collective show “On an Odd Night” to the public for a reception with food and drink from 5-8pm in TAG Gallery, Bergamot Station at 2525 Michigan Ave. #D3, Santa Monica, CA 90404.  We will also be open to the public from 11am-5pm on Tuesday, December 20^th.

I feel I’ve gained quite a lot from this year of monthly and bi-monthly meetings with this group of artists, the most pleasant being their friendship.  It will be a visual treat to see our work finally hanging together.

 

In the new year, I expect to keep creating new art in my studio, and continue regular trips to LA for art business with galleries that already show my work and meeting other galleries that are interested.
