“Where do we go from here?” is the latest work of mine to receive recognition.
This piece, which you’ll find in the image attached, is included in the Los
Angeles Art Association Volume II catalog just released from my home gallery in
L.A. Gallery 825. It is an honor to be selected for inclusion in this catalog,
which is made available to VIP’s in the art industry. I have 3 in my possession
that I’m making available for purchase. If you’re interested in seeing my work,
I’m page 98, and to own this amazing collection of art images from several
accomplished artists send me a message and I’ll make one available to you as
well as sign my page for you. This actual art piece is also currently available.
During this month of July and into August, my work “I am curves of
Earth” will be included in the group exhibition for the 94th
Anniversary Art Show/Auction for the LAAA/Gallery 825. You can see the email
below promoting my art. It will be on display at the gallery and online with
Paddle8. The Auction will close with the reception on August 3rd,
2019.
Recently you would have had the opportunity to read my two
separate articles in The Fresno Bee, the first one sharing my journey to being
a living kidney donor: https://www.fresnobee.com/.../reade.../article228813544.html
and
the second one sharing a little more of the behind the scenes preparation and
the importance of being an artist when you are challenged with live threatening
circumstances: https://www.fresnobee.com/…/readers-o…/article230452489.html
Following these, I was asked to be a guest on
ABC Channel 30 “Latino Life” sharing my kidney donor journey and about my art.
In all instances I appreciated the correlation made between my career as an
artist and how I expressed my kidney journey so that others could learn of this
valuable option. Here is the link to the interview with Graciela Moreno on “Latino
Life”: Latino Life: Local Artist Becomes Living Organ Donor
