First up will be the Opening Reception for "Out There" this Friday, June 10th, 6-10pm at the LAAA/Gallery 825 - 825 N. La Cienega
Blvd. West Hollywood, Los Angeles, CA 90069 (310) 652-8272. My art work "Voices will signal their tired
end" will be included in this exhibition. This piece is from my
series "human:nature". I will be in attendance at the reception
and welcome you to come and see my work. The show runs from the 10th
through the 17th. To see my Facebook
invite page click here: https://www.facebook.com/events/1757630061141445/
Next, I will have two pieces "Fallen"
and "Summertime" from my “::selective
memory::” series in the exhibition "North
of the Grapevine" at Holy
Grounds Coffee, 5371 Alhambra
Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90032, (323)
222-8884, running July 1st-31st,
with the Opening Reception Sunday, June
26th (time TBD – you can
find updates on my Facebook invite page:
https://www.facebook.com/events/.1757630061141445/). This is organized by Frank Delgado,
Director of Arte Americas in Fresno, CA, following the just finished and very
successful “Two Degrees of Separation – An International Sisterhood of Women
Artists” exhibition that included two of my art works in Fresno. “North of the
Grapevine” has been coordinated as a reciprocal exhibition that will display at
the same time as "South of the Grapevine” at Arte Americas.
Then, July 30th,
will be the Reception from (6pm VIP)
7-9pm for the LAAA Anniversary Art Show/Auction at Gallery 825 which will include one of my works “false pretense”. I also plan to be in attendance and look
forward to another great party.
I hope to visit with you perhaps at one or more of these
shows.
As you can see, I’ve traveled several times to LA for art business with
galleries that already show my work and meeting other galleries that are
interested. I also continue as a member
of an Artist Critique Group with fellow Los Angeles Art Association members
meeting at various LA locations. Sponsored by the LAAA/Gallery 825, we meet
monthly to critique our work and plan for a show at an LA Gallery where a
professional art critic will review our work and our show will open to the
public for a reception.
Most
importantly, I continue my work to sell my art, (which helps me pay bills, purchase
supplies and to be able to attend art events in LA).
Please feel
free to ask me about any of my work if you are interested.
And remember, I am always willing to work out payments with you.
Thanks for reading,
Aileen
