It’s been a while since my last update. As I am in the beginning stages of recovering from my Cancer treatments, keeping up with business has been dependent on my energy level. On that note, I am happy to report I’m now in Remission! My cancer is not curable, but Remission is a good place to be.
If you would like to contribute funds to help me pay the many medical bills, you can donate by sending money directly to me through my PayPal account (without GoFundMe taking a fee or if you want to buy art/make payments on art you want):  http://paypal.me/AileenI

- or - through the GoFundMe my husband created: https://www.gofundme.com/f/aileen-battles-cancer?utm_source=customer&utm_medium=copy_link-tip&utm_campaign=p_cp+share-sheet

Through all of this my art has kept me going, thinking of a future and feeling positive about things happening in my art career.

Right now: You can see my work “Reasons Why” in the “indistinct chatter” Online Art Show/Sale by the Los Angeles Art Association/Gallery 825 (my home gallery in L.A.). Here is the Live Link directly to my art work: https://www.laaa.org/indistinct-chatter/aileen-imperatrice-reasons-why?fbclid=IwAR2E5lBn8loEpfpU6uzo0f9jpYF5K_eduFQIj5W6IA_90Wi_5TVtoZ-pI6Y
This ONLINE ONLY show and sale began live 7/1/2020 and will continue through 7/10/2020.

Next, starting on July 5 – August 30, 2020 you can view and buy my art work “until the best remains” at the realArt Gallery for their “Summer Juried Show”. You can reach them through this link: https://whatisrealart.com/?fbclid=IwAR3b7gRRuGHr019dJJZ52BhybZdeGLlcUrDwYa_TP5etHzeG7iaRdHKWeX4

Meanwhile, you can still view my two pieces “Into this house we’re born” and “I am curves of Earth” in the Arte Americas exhibition “!Adelante, Artistas y Danzantes!” via this virtual gallery link: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=7YbMYJCe9in

I have a couple of books remaining featuring my artwork “Where do we go from here?”, included in the Los Angeles Art Association Volume II catalog of emerging artists produced by my home gallery in L.A., Gallery 825. It is an honor to be selected for inclusion in this hardbound catalog, which is made available to VIP’s in the art industry. If you’re interested in seeing my work, (I’m page 98), and to own this amazing collection of art images from several accomplished artists, send me a message and I’ll make one available to you for purchase as well as sign my page for you. The actual art piece of mine included is also currently available.

During May I had my work “Paper Goddess” in the Online show/sale “Petite Works” presented by the Los Angeles Art Association/Gallery 825. It SOLD! I also continued showing my 2 pieces at Arte Americas (as mentioned and linked to above). In June, my work “Paper Man about town” was in the online show/sale “Gleaming Apollo” also presented by the Los Angeles Art Association/Gallery 825. This piece is currently available. And my work in the Arte Americas show “!Adelante, Artistas y Danzantes!” continued through June.

I will have more exhibitions of my work to share with you soon, as I promise to keep my art career busy while I continue to look forward to new opportunities and sales.

Meanwhile, you can see my art and find out what I’m doing through My Website: www.aileenimperatrice.com
