Hi All,

I have added a new wiki on "How to Compile and Run Visage
application".This wiki deals with the way
to get started with visage applications i.e Compilation and running of
application. You can find the
wiki at http://code.google.com/p/visage/wiki/CompilingAndRunningVisageApplication

Thanks, Shiv, for writing this up.  What is most critical, in my mind, for the adoption and use of visage is the ease of distribution, installation, and running of visage distributed apps for those who are less technical than your typical Java developer.  The process looks pretty easy, though I do note that 'visage' is the command necessary to run the compiled code in this example.  Is there an example you or someone else can provide that would demonstrate a JSR223 style of launcher such that the visage compiled code can be run directly from Java?  Would the Java ScriptEngineManager be able to find the right engine by extension "visage", for instance?  Does it support BeansBinding parameters to be sent to and from the engine?

Hi Rob,

Great to know about your concern but the thing is that Steve is the best person to answer this.I dont have all the answers right now but will surely get back to you if I find some. Apart from that Steve would be the best person to answer these questions.
