Hello Mariam,

I know this question has been answered in another non-public thread. Just to document this behaviour publicly I am also answering here.

Public API keys are rate limited to 4 requests/min and 5760 requests per day. The per minute limitation may sometimes be lax if you are using batch requests, however, the 5760 requests per day one is strict. Whenever you reach your minute limitation or daily limitation the API just answers back with an empty 204 HTTP status code response.

My script has been successfully fetching results but since 31st May, 2013 I'm facing an issue.

The issue is that the script successfully gets responses for few hours but then it keeps on getting empty responses for many hours.

No exception occurs while fetching response. And I'm not exceeding the request rate limit.

I am not sure about what can be the cause of this issue. Can it be some issue with the server or can there be some other reason?

Can anyone please guide me about this?
