Is it possible to run vglclient in such a way that it only accepts connections from localhost -- e.g. by having vglclient listen on the loopback interface?

Context: Hoping to avoid opening port 4242 to the LAN, for security reasons.

No, it listens on all interfaces.  However, if you run a firewall on
your client machine (which is the default on most modern O/S's), Port
4242 won't be opened to the LAN unless you specifically want it to be.
You can use SSH tunneling (vglconnect -s) to establish a connection with
the VirtualGL Server without opening that port.

Understood -- thanks. Great project, btw.
