Any progress on Buildroot?

I remember hearing a while back that there was supposed to be a release of a Buildroot-based build system for the VCMX212. Is this still in the works? How are other people getting on with setting up Buildroot for the VCMX212? Having spent some time now trying (usuccessfully) to make a bootable system using Buildroot, I'd be interested to hear of any progress.
