Hello,

I'm new to working with the virutal cog and embedded devices in
general. This is for my Sr design project--I'm a Sr at Lehigh
University studying computer engineering.

I am working with the example camera code on the wiki, however when I
upload via ymodem + make executable per the instructions, I get a
Memory Failure. I tried resetting the board and running it again, but
the same:

uMON>VTFS Scanning //FLASH/...

MICRO MONITOR 1.8.1
Platform: Virtual Cogs VCMX212
CPU: MC9328MX21 ARM926EJS
Built: Jan 12 2008 @ 21:59:00
Monitor RAM: 0xc0000000-0xc0021934
Application RAM Base: 0xc0200000
uMON>camera
camera: memory failure

I currently have the Camera Cog, and the Multimedia Cog attached
(minus the LCD screen)

Pretty standard besides that, I havent gotten any further yet ;-)

thanks for your help!

Chris,

Did you upload the elf or the bin? The elf is the one without the file
extension and that's the one you want to use.

I believe I did.. atleast I remember reading to do that, however after
recompiling and reuploading it seams to work. Cool!

Has anyone had experience with running the arm toolkit under eclipse?
I'm having a hard time with silly includes and such (as eclipse I
believe isnt running under cygwin's chroot type env)

Cheers
-Chris
