we have enabled access to a fully documented Virtual Platform to
everybody that has access to the internet. The Virtual Platform (VP)
is hosted in a cloud and no tools need to be downloaed or installed.
The VP can be accessed via:
http://www.coware.com/solutions/vp_saas.php
This Virtual Platform is a soft “emulator” of the ARM RealView
Versatile Platform Baseboard for ARM926-EJS. It includes a virtualized
Ethernet Controller, UARTs, GPIOs, GPS, modem, keyboard and mouse/
touchscreen interfaces, and a frame-buffer that allow the user/
environment to interact with the platform, just like you would with a
real hardware board.
It runs Android 2.0 as well as a plain Vanilla Linux kernel which we
have packaged in so called "skins" that can be chosen at start-up.
At this point in time it is all I want to say.

Achim
It would be interesting to get feedback, to help improve this service.
If you have any user experience you would like to share please feel
free to reply to the forum or "Reply to author"

We also removed most of the filtering and limits on email addresses.
If you had any problems before getting access to the platform because
you did not receive an email, please give it a try now. If you still
are not getting an email, check that the reply email did not end up in
your spam filter or "junk" folder.
Corporate firewalls can also create a problem by blocking access to
the Virtual Platform. The Virtual Platform in the cloud requires http
and ssh, ports 80 and 22. If you use the VNC viewer you also need port
5801 (VNC web access) or 5901 (VNC client).
