Dear Ali,

Is there a coordinator? If not, why don't you become one and update
the wiki accordingly. People will sign up. If you want to swap roles
down the line it is not a problem. Main thing is to start up :)

Hi,

there are two groups working on knowledge graphs, they might be including some text-mining data, maybe worth to have a look.

Regards,

I would love to participate, but I can’t sign up for the hackathon via the web site.

I have a GitHub repository with code for working on the CORD-19 coronavirus corpus.

Hi Kevin,

To join the BioHackathon you should join the mailing list (which you did already :-) and joining the slack (https://virtualbiohac-xt62674.slack.com/join/shared_invite/zt-cuur40oj-wdrVz50NocwVrH7vgKTdPg).

You can join a group by adding your name to the list of participants. Groups/topics are on the wiki https://github.com/virtual-biohackathons/covid-19-bh20/wiki Anyone should have permissions to join. If you have troubles there, please let us know.

Hello everyone, I think this resource can be a good source for knowledge mining:

In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Allen Institute for AI has partnered with leading research groups to prepare and distribute the COVID-19 Open Research Dataset (CORD-19), a free resource of over 45,000 scholarly articles, including over 33,000 with full text, about COVID-19 and the coronavirus family of viruses for use by the global research community.

Thanks,
Andrew
