There is no big difference between both degrees. However, MIT concerns with Practical Implementation where as MCS is bit theocratic degree and more detailed against MIT. Moreover, if you are intended for higher education in pure computer science then go for MCS.

yes u can. I also got admission in MIT but I converted to mcs. the conversion fee is 3500 and it possible after final term and after announcing result I also changed my course in 2nd semester

MIT is for those who want to have bit of know how for business processes in organizations such as management, accounts, entrepreneurship etc whereas MCS is PURE computer science degree. 

Both have their own value depending upon the nature of job. If you are working in software house then MCS would be best but if you are working in a company whose products are other than software products then they fancy having a candidate that knows about some management concepts as well.

You will be ideal candidate everywhere if you do BS in computer science and then MBA, that would be icing on the cake.

Wooowwwwwwww ap ne tu bachelor degree ko master ke sath kya compare kiya hai  bhot khoob. Phir tu hum sab ne ghalti ki  jo MCS ya MIT ker rahy hain bachelor ker ke jobs doondty ty..MBA waly BA ya BBA kerty hain na aur PhD aur Mphil tu farig degrees hain. Right!!!

The MCS degree is totall relating to Computer Science. The full time software development demanded full devotion of computer insturctions, so the MCS degree is related with totally software development.
