Thanks to poor design and quality of Canon printer, I found the cause, maybe it's the lamp of scanner out of work, when printer power on, the scanner need initializing self-check, the scanner head will move and lamp on to return GOOD signal to main board, now the lamp only had very dim green light(normally it should be bright white light), so return NG, initialize failed. I need to find a replacement scanner head and the strip cable to see if the lamp or cable dead, otherwise the mainboard maybe dead.
I think I've only used mine a few times... and I know Ive only printed ten pages maximum... I too have this Error Code 5011. I've wasted about two hours tonight... it won't do anything, no print, scan or copy... what a waste of $$$... Im pissed off... I haven't used this thing in months, and I was hoping to print a few things tonight, what a disappointment. I will have to call them and see if they can fix this thing.
i think the device is NCS-5011-32H not NCS-5011-32F. As if you see documents if shows like NCS-5011-32F is a Cisco NCS 5000 Series Router 32x40GE Mode. Secondly the device may be EOL as it is no more in the ordering tool as well. Would like to know more Is that a fixed Chassis ?
The weird thing is that on the label of the box it's written NCS-5011-32F and yet I get 100G speeds according to the show interface command. Also if I search for the device in the Cisco database it comes up as 32F and not 32H . But why would it report 100G ?
Every time I power on my canon, I immediately get "Support code 5011". Telling me a printer error has occurred and to cancel the print and turn the device off. I have several times. I let it sit for a while powered off for a while (months) and I was able to get past the error yesterday. I was then stopped by a message telling me the paper didn't match the paper selected (it did) and after that the cassette tray wasn't properly out. Has anyone had these issues before? Am I going to have to try to take it a part? I originally thought the printer may be clogged or a bit dirty from the last print job I did. It was with heat transfer paper (so a bit thicker and textured). It was momentarily entered the wrong way and has given me problems ever since.
The 5011 error is a general hardware error; since you have already verified that there are no paper jams in the printer, I recommend performing a reset of the printer. While the printer is on, unplug the power cord from the printer. While the power is off, press the power button 5 times. After 60 seconds plug the power cord back in and power on the printer.
If the reset does not resolve the error, the printer will require service. If the printer is in it's 1 year warranty, I recommend reaching out to Canon support for your warranty options. You will need to register your Canon gear HERE to access additional support options.
If the printer is out of warranty, you would qualify for the Canon Upgrade program. This is for out of warranty units which have been diagnosed to require service or are incompatible with a new or upgraded system. This program allows you the opportunity to purchase a replacement product discounted from the list price. Free ground shipping is included with your purchase.
Welcome to planned obsolescence. Your printer is most likely a doorstop now. If you've followed all of the published steps in the manual and in this forum, don't bother paying $20 for support and pray you still have a valid warranty.
Support can do nothing more than you can to troubleshoot this error code.
If you pay the $20 like I did for the privilege of calling support, you'll be asked to unplug and plug back in the printer, confirm no paper jams, etc...then be told that your printer is toast, and your $20 is now held hostage unless you agree to use it toward a new printer.
I am never using another Canon product again, and I'm making sure the design firm I purchase for does the same. I'm disgusted with the lack of help on this. The only advice I get is to unplug/replug and then Canon will make you either pay $20 to have a rep tell you the same, or have them try to con you into sending it for repair and paying more money. They will give you no helpful information about how to resolve this. It violates just about every right to repair law out there.
What really bothers me is that this is a printer and scanner, yet this code is preventing both operations and making this completely useless. At least have the decency to be bad at printing and let someone still use the scanner.

The Models 5011 and 5011-HT Piezoelectric Accelerometers are excellent units for highlevel vibration or shock studies. The unique design of the piezoelectric seismic system ensures that the units have no discernible spurious response to mounting torque, body strains, cable vibration, cable whip, pressure variations and most heat transients.
The units incorporate a shear crystal-mass assembly, which ensures that the sensor is insensitive to environmental inputs such as base bending and thermal transients. The sensing element is electrically isolated internally from case ground by means of an inner housing to reduce spurious pickup of ground loop currents. These sensors feature a 10-32 top connector and are provided with a 10" low-noise coaxial cable. The Model 5011-HT will operate in environments up to +500 Deg. F.

The 5011 is a versatile, high accuracy calibrator that can be used in a wide range of applications across various industries. Primarily used as a programmable resistance / RTD source, the 5011 provides precision resistance with a best accuracy of 0.01 % and 1 mΩ resolution (50 Ω to 1 kΩ).
The 5011 can be used as a laboratory grade resistance and temperature calibrator, or incorporated into an automated test system for dedicated signal injections. A rack mount kit option is also available.
Front panel operation allows the user to quickly set the function and output required. Using the jog / shuttle dial deviation the user can finely adjust the output value as a percentage (+/- 9.99%). All this information is shown on an easy to read LED display. As standard the 5011 uses a SCPI command structure for programming. It also supports the Time Electronics 9811/19/20 command set making it an ideal replacement for these legacy models.
A range of internally fitted options are available for the 5011, providing added functionality and features. The DCV / Thermocouple option provides a DC voltage source (+/- 20V) and simulates thermocouple types K, J, T, R, S, N, E and B. With the DC current option fitted the 5011 can source up to 220mA. This makes the instrument ideal for accurate process control calibration. Also available is a 0.1Hz to 10MHz frequency option (Period 100ns to 10s). The output is variable with a best resolution setting of 0.1Hz.
ETHOXCARE 5011 is the polyethylene glycol ether of cetearyl alcohol with an average of 25 repeating units of ethylene glycol. It is an emulsifier for oil-in-water emulsions and a solubilizer. ETHOXCARE 5011 is useful in a wide range of personal care products and cosmetics and is compatible with all types of oils and actives. Since it is a completely saturated solid material, it is very stable and has an HLB of about 15-17. ETHOXCARE 5011 can be combined with other surfactants to achieve any required HLB.
