Are you interested in Space Exploration? This event will feed your
desire for information on how and who people are learning about the vast
universe around us. Presented by the National Space Society Puerto Rico
working in partnership with other organizations to provide a well
rounded experience to all those who participate in the conference. It
will offer the chance not only to meet people seriously involved in
space exploration and development but to meet ordinary people with a
keen interest in space exploration and development. Just as much fun as
a science fiction convention but based on fact for people with serious
interests.
Why Puerto Rico
Puerto Rico is already a world leader in Radio Astronomy with the
Arecibo Observatory and a visit of this location including the massive
radio telescope will be a major part of the conference. On top of that
Puerto Rico is a very enjoyable location to visit for many other reasons
apart from a space conference and the atmosphere will be both physically
and socially very appealing.

Cosmonaut Yuriy V Usachev - Hero of the Russian Federation - 670 days in
space
A world renowned space traveller who has had a long and productive
career working for Russian space corporations including Energia and
serving with international missions on the Mir Space Station alongside
US astronauts and more recently on the International Space Station.
Sy Liebergot - Apollo EECOM - former NASA Mission Control
One of the Saviors of the Apollo 13 crew and served on all of the Apollo
missions including Apollo-Soyuz and then all of the Skylab missions.
Helped design the Astronaut Neutral Buoyancy Chambers and still has a
very active career participating in and promoting all of the NASA programs.
Joe Haldeman - Acclaimed Science Fiction Author
A hard science fiction author of two dozen novels read worldwide in many
languages and winner of many writers awards. His books include The
Forever War, the Forever Peace, Marsbound, The Accidental Time Machine,
Old Twentieth and Starbound.
Dr. Michael P. Simpson - President of the International Space University
President of the International Space University, the foremost world
institution for third level space science and space management education.
