Remote Pilot (Drone) Certification Test Prep Virtual Workshop Registration Closes: About 1 month prior to event; Workshops: December 17-18, 2025; January 6-7, 2026; and other dates -- This 2-day workshop will provide information on how to pass the FAA Remote Pilot Knowledge Test and an overview of federal regulations, best flight operational practices, and safety guidelines. 11.) Campaign: Bring Your Own Container -- Restaurants in Virginia with more than 20 locations can no longer provide expanded polystyrene (EPS) containers. The EPS ban will go into effect on July 1, 2026 for restaurants with fewer than 20 locations. Instead, bring your own container for leftovers to reduce waste and help restaurants save money.
