Note – A recent set of announcements included a call for water quality data for the 2026 Water Quality Assessment Integrated Report. The deadline was March 3, 2025 so has past. The DEQ publishes its biennial integrated report to satisfy the requirements of the U.S. Clean Water Act sections 305(b) and 303(d) and the Virginia Water Quality Monitoring, Information and Restoration Act. The agency accepts water quality data to be reviewed and evaluated for assessment purposes on a continual basis.
