Clean the Bay Day – Registration Closes: Various Dates, Starting: May 15, 2025; Event: June 7, 2025 (9am-12pm) – Help remove litter and debris from one of hundreds of locations throughout Virginia.  To find a location near you, learn more, and register, see www.cbf.org/clean or email ct...@cbf.org. Registration closes May 15, 2025 for the City of Virginia Beach Parks and Recreation; elsewhere, registration closes May 28, 2025. Once registration closes, a small list of walkup sites will be posted. Organized by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation.

Volunteers Needed: Installation of Living Shoreline Oyster Sill – Next Registration Deadline: May 15, 2025; Multiple Days; May-July 10, 2025 – Hampton, VA – Volunteer to help install a 1,000 foot living shoreline oyster sill along the Hampton River. The project will involve placing 4,692 oyster castles, 720 bushels of recycled oyster shells, 650 Natrx Basalt Shell Bags, and 22 coconut fiber coir logs, each measuring 12 feet by 16 inches.
