Are you serious? I wanted to know what the National Southwest Border
Counter narcotics Strategy was. Look at the web link below. This is
what I get. I have to pay to see the strategy/policy. Talk about foggy
transparency. What an insult. As if the strategy itself wasn’t bad
enough (as reported by the AP). America’s 15 million monthly marijuana
consumers aren’t going away. We need to gain control of this market by
regulating marijuana like we do beer, wine and liquor. Anti-drug
efforts that leave the marijuana trade in the hands of the cartels are
nothing but a full-employment plan for criminals. These professional
drug warriors and cartel bosses could not write a better policy if
they tried. Any thing short of regulation on our side of the border is
not a serious proposal to address the southwestern narcotic issues.
(70% = marijuana 30% = everything else) We can do so much better so
much faster.
