Mr. Ahmed DIOMANDE Director of Foreign Direct Investment
Center for the Promotion of Investment in the Ivory Coast (CEPICI) will be in Richmond for two days.
While here, Mr. Diomande is visiting with City and State officials to explore opportunities for regional investment in West Africa, and connections to benefit our sister city in Segou are being explored. He looks forward to meeting VFOM members, whose roots include the several countries that made up the Medieval Kingdom of Mali. Please come introduce yourselves.
Two VCU events open to Virginia Friends of Mali members:
1) There is a meet and greet Feb. 25 on the VCU campus -- Thursday afternoon from 2:10-3:20 pm. Location is Academic Learning Center – 2nd floor lobby -- building located at 1000 Floyd Avenue, near the Cabell library.
Following the reception in the same building will be a short presentation on the Ivory Coast from 3:30-4:00 pm in 1100 Academic Learning Center.
