Some of you have been in my Capitol Hill home when my friend from Mali, Peace Corps Baba, is in town. He brings bags of beaded jewelry; we drink wine and we go shopping. He will not be in DC long, but I hope you can come on the 9th to wish him well and purchase some of his amazing work. You know you want to be here…..   Baba in my home during a previous visit Here is Baba a few years ago in my dining room.   Remember that the war in Mali continues, tourists are not going to Mali and what we purchase here in DC, helps Baba’s family and the dozens of others he hires to put food on their tables. So, if you come and buy something[s], you are not only doing something nice for yourself, you are helping others.     Please let me know if you can join us.
