FFV dues and 2014 planning

Fathers across Virginia urgently need to be planning and organizing now for 2015 and beyond.  Primary FFV activities for 2014 include a membership drive, member support initiatives, legislative proposals, election of officers and our 2015 General Assembly political action plan and objectives.  Our first task is to determine how many individuals really want to be involved and actively support these important efforts.  We do this by asking for minimal dues as a measure of commitment and to fund FFV activities.  Annual dues of $75 for 2014 are due by March 31^st.  By paying dues you support FFV efforts to make Virginia a fairer place for non-custodial fathers – nearly 95% of all divorced fathers in Virginia.  You also become a voting member of FFV, eligible to hold office and represent FFV at the General Assembly and to other groups.  Please send your check payable to “Fathers for Virginia” to Fred Hawkins, FFV Treasurer, at 4138 Dartmouth Lane, Gainesville, Virginia 20155.  Please note in the memo section “2014 Annual Dues.”

 

In early April, we will be contacting all dues paying members to schedule our first official FFV meeting of year to choose/elect a President and plan our agenda for 2014.
