IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Athlete weight class declaration must be
entered on the LBC TEAM ROSTERS and any athlete more than 2lbs over
declared weight class will be disqualified at the scales.
DRAW: Close of scales Friday
EAST CENTRAL REGION MEETING: 2PM
The meeting is an open meeting with all attendees having voice but
only LBC Presidents or their authorized representatives may vote.
Please remember that LBC dues are due at this meeting.

Under 12, $10 daily or $20 all event pass
Adult $25 daily $15 all event pass
WEIGHT CLASSES AND DIVISIONS:
Bantam 9-10 years old: Any beginning weight, with five-pound
increments
Junior 11-12 years old:
60,65,70,75,80,85,90,95,101,106,110,114,119,125,132,138 and 145 lbs
Intermediate 13-14 years old:
70,75,80,85,90,95,101,106,110,114,119,125,132,138,145,154,165,176,189
and 201 lbs
Senior Junior 15-16 years old:
101,106,110,114,119,125,132,138,145,154,165,176+ lbs
Senior Junior (female) 15-16 years old: 80, 85, 90,95,
101,106,110,114,119,125,132,138,145,154,165,176+ lbs
TEAM ENTRY AND ROSTERS:
Entry forms shall be produced at the LBC level and have the advancing
schedule annotated as follows -
1. LBC Name: Date and location of LBC tournament
2. East Central Region No.2: 20-22MAY2011, White Marsh, MD
3. National Championships: 12-17JULY2011, Colorado Springs.CO
Advancing boxers entry forms will be forwarded to the region
coordinator with team rosters.
Region LBC Junior Olympic Chairs please email the rosters as soon as
possible after your respective LBC tournaments. Rosters may also be
faxed or mailed to Robert Matney at the contact information above.
As a request please send the club information with the athletes
information. This will help us to provide the local media with
detailed information for their coverage. Thank you.
REGIONAL COACHES: Personal coaches must be currently registered with
USA Boxing and certified by their LBC. Personal coaches may work the
corners of their athletes. However, each LBC will only be allowed free
admission for 5 coaches (1 head, 1 asst and 3 additional coaches).
The coaching roster decision will be up to each LBC president and
their names must be submitted in advance. All others must purchase
tickets.
REGIONAL OFFICIALS: Each LBC is requested to bring at least two
Officials as part of their delegation. Impartial judging can be
assured if each contest is judged using only neutral Officials. Only
Officials who work the Regional tournament will be considered for
inclusion as Regional Officials at the Nationals.

AIBA Official Brenton Bovell, PVA will be conducting a Level II
Officials Clinic on Saturday 21 MAY time to be announced at the
tournament.
BOXING EQUIPMENT:
All USA Boxing rules and equipment regulations will be in force.
ADVANCEMENT:
Regional champions, both boys and girls, will advance to the USA
Boxing National Championships to be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado
12-17 June. Only competitors advancing through the Regional Tournament
will be considered members of the Regional Team. Stipends if provided
by USAB will only be awarded to Regional Team members.
PARTICIPATION:
Each Local Boxing Committee (LBC) is entitled to bring a full team of
male and female competitors, one team manager and five team coaches.
All athletes and non-athletes must have current USA Boxing
registration. All entrants (athlete and non-athlete) must complete an
entry form and a medical consent form. Coaches must have a current
Background Investigation and proof of certification to work in a
corner. All athletes must have a current Passbook to enter the
competition. All Open Class Boxers must have five (5) bouts recorded
in their passbook before entering the nationals, and walk-overs do not
count. NO BOOK NO BOXING!

All region no.2 LBC presidents: Please have your individual Junior
Olympic Chairs contact me as soon as possible. I want to set a
conference call with all LBC presidents and their JO chairs as soon
as
possible. With an effective line of communication form the inception
we should have another smooth tournament.
