Proof of Citiezenship

Dear USA Boxing Members,
As we continue to move closer to the start of the 2011 USA Boxing
National Championships, the
Events Department, along with the 2011 Tournament Staff, would like
to
make the membership
aware of two important registration and competition procedures that
will be strongly enforced
during the 2011 USA Boxing National Championships.
1. U.S Citizenship
Proof of U.S. Citizenship will be required of each participating
athlete during registration on
June 19, 2011. A copy of an original birth certificate or passport
will be accepted. Athletes who
do not present their proof of U.S. Citizenship during registration
will be required to obtain proof
no later than the start of that athlete’s weigh-in. If citizenship
cannot be verified, the boxer
will not be able to compete.
2. USA Boxing Passbook
USA Boxing competition passbooks will be required of every
participant
during registration on
June 19, 2011. Athletes who do not present their competition passbook
during registration will
be required to obtain their book no later than the start of that
athlete’s weigh-in. Athletes must
be in possession of their passbook at the time of weigh-ins.
There will be NO EXCEPTIONS! NO BOOK, NO BOX!
As a reminder all entry forms for the 2011 USA Boxing National
Championships can be found
on our website, www.usaboxing.org. Entry forms are due no later than
June 1, 2011.
