I'm just digging into Virgil, it's been a great tool for my initial trials. Has anyone tried running virgil on another server (like Tomcat) instead of it's own stand-alone server?

Ironically, Virgil started life as a war file deployable to Tomcat, but after we abandoned the war bundling/distribution when we switched it over to dropwizard.

It shouldn't be too hard to create the war file again.  The web services are JAX-RS.  It should be easy enough to setup Jersey or CXF inside tomcat.   If you want, create an issue to produce a war file distribution.

(Let me know if you attempt to bundle in tomcat, I can lend a hand)
