Hi folks,
Sebastien and I have been throwing around the idea of having our next NGRSC meeting at COSPAR, in Montreal, in July. Since the PRBEM (Panel on Radiation Belt Models) sessions should provide ample opportunity for us to update each other on our recent progress, the NGRSC sidebar would be small and brief. We would try to reserve a room for a 1/2-day or at most a 1-day meeting. We expect it would be a smaller meeting than the last one we had in El Segundo, so nobody should feel obligated to make special plans to go to COSPAR just for the NGRSC meeting. If we did this, how many of you would likely attend? We'll need to give COSPAR a head count.
In other news, Daniel Heynderickx has offered to set up a website for NGRSC. I gave him some links that could go on it (to our COSPAR, GEM, NASA, and ViRBO pages). Who is interested/willing to work with Daniel to take it beyond a link page? Please respond to Daniel (DHCons...@skynet.be), myself, Reiner Friedel, Greg Ginet, and Sebastien Bourdarie (i.e., not to the whole NGRSC list).
