All,
I have recently received news that allows me to expect that ViRBO will
have steady support beyond the first 3-year development cycle which is
now ending. So now is a good time to bring in the users. Although
the support continuation is not official yet, I think it is more
important to send this out before AGU than to wait for official word.
If you want to hear about my opinions on what lies ahead, please see
the Nov 24th issue of EOS or the attached document.
We have many new products that you probably do not know about, and
many are ready for evaluation and testing. I plan on releasing or
announcing new data products or software on a (approximately) 1-2
month cycle. If all goes well, there will be a ViRBO meeting sometime
in the next year, possibly held on the day before or day after another
radiation belt meeting. If you have any suggestions, please let me
know.
Janet Green is giving a presentation about ViRBO on Friday at 5:10 pm.
Here is a list of all AGU posters and presentations that may be of
interested to those interested in VxO's and Data-related issues:

I will be at the meeting from Sunday through Friday morning, so if you
would like to meet with me, send me an email.

I will soon start using Google Groups to manage the ViRBO email list:

Groups email list instead of this ad hoc list I am currently using.
