HP actually has a support page dedicated to this printer, -en/drivers/selfservice/samsung-ml-2525-laser-printer-series/17156979, which suggests to me that they bought out Samsung's printer business at some point.

Yes I just tried but it cannot find the printer (attached). How about just getting rid of the Microsoft default print manager software ? Although if you like that idea I'm not sure how to execute it...

I've tried scanning via Easy Print Manager and directly from the printer but each time I get this message
"Scan application supported by easy printer manager is not installed. Please install scan application"

Samsung Easy Printer Manager Download is an all-in-one solution that helps users manage their Samsung printers. It provides the necessary tools to configure and manage printer settings, monitor printer status, and troubleshoot errors. It also saves users time and money by efficiently controlling multiple printers with a single interface. With its intuitive user interface, Samsung Easy Printer Manager provides quick and easy access to all printer settings and functions. Users can monitor and manage their printers from anywhere with an internet connection. Its comprehensive features are the perfect choice for anyone looking for an easy and efficient way to manage their printer network.

For all those that have a Samsung Printer, installing the newest drivers from the website is pretty easy. Just download the printer manager and that's it, everyone would expect a basic application that allows your PC to communicate with the printer and that's it. Unfortunately, most of these tools include more tools inside that should be "useful" for the regular user, but they end up being a pain in the ***.

Just like mobile compatibility cannot be answered as a yes/no or check box. What your application supports on mobile is also on a spectrum. Often we jump to the most complex thing our web product does and use that as an excuse for not making any of the application mobile. There are certain tasks that are perfectly suited for mobile in both web-to-print and Print MIS.

Web-to-Print: purchase approvals, this should be brilliantly easy to do on mobile, especially when you've deployed to a large organization that orders a lot. Certain managers might have 10+ approvals waiting for them - a brilliant mobile interface for this can enable that manager to complete those tasks in a few touches. I just say a recent "app" built on top of Four51's new OrderCloud 2.0 that is specifically for approvals - its all in responsive design so mobile user experience is elegant.

Print MIS: the most obvious use of mobile is of course shop floor data collection, deploying full computers for this task seems awfully wasteful in the advent of tablets. The other place I think mobile is critical for Print MIS is the sales function - sales people have a very specific relationship with the Print MIS (they orders, their customer, status, status, status....) these are perfectly suited for mobile.
