Great News! Be sure to pass this on to your staff and friends in the industry!

The BCLNA announced that it will fund 7 tuitions in the GAIA COLLEGE Organic Master Gardener course.

 Funding is restricted to courses on Vancouver Island completing before the end of April 2011:

 Victoria  (January 18 - March 10, 2011)

Tofino  (February 14 - 25, 2011) (2 week intensive - ideal for professionals!)

Courtenay (March 11 - 28, 2011)

Students must meet eligibility as defined:

Employed within the industry (casual, part-time, or full-time)

With a company that has less than 50 employees

Must meet one of the following:

1.       Lack high School or

2.       Have High School with no additional certification (certification recognized in Canada) eg. Trades Certificate, Class 1 Drivers License et cetra.

3.       High School but lack Essential Skills (reading, writing, et cetera)

4.       Post Secondary (that is not towards a degree of BA)

Students must complete an intake and exit form.
