Reclaim the Commons Robin Hood Gardening Initiative**
First Meeting on Monday April 12 at 5:30 PM
304 - 733 Johnson StThe empty lots and abandoned spaces in this city could provide healthy food for thousands of community members who struggle to put meals on their tables. The Reclaim the Commons Robin Hood Gardening Initiative will plant gardens in the city's unused areas to promote food sovereignty and equality in Victoria while building community among activists from a variety of perspectives.
The project will need gardeners, harvesters, municipal bylaw experts anti poverty activists and more. Come to the inaugural meeting and share your ideas about how to transform our community into a more livable place.
Free dinner will be provided. Please RSVP if you have child care expenses and we will reimburse them.
