Hope you're all enjoying the sunshine! Lifecycles has some seed starting workshops coming up, as well as an Intro to Native Bees, Intro to Permaculture, Cheesemaking and Cultivating Medicinal Plants. See attached flyer for a complete list of Lifecycles workshops.
Upcoming Seed Starting workshops:
Sunday, February 27th 3-5pm at Lifecycles office, upstairs at #2- 625 Hillside Ave.
and Thursday, March 3rd 7-9pm at SJ Willis, 923 Topaz Ave, room TBA*This workshop will focus more on starting and growing fantastic tomatoes and peppers!
This class will give instruction and tips for successfully starting your own seeds. We’ll plant several varieties of heritage tomatoes, salad greens and edible flowers for participants to take home for their gardens.
COST: $25; $20 for members (includes a tray of seedlings)*
No-one turned away for lack of funds; energy exchanges and bursaries available… please inquire.
INSTRUCTED BY: Amy Crook, certified Master Gardener
Amy Crook is a certified master gardener with 4 decades of experience. She has been growing food since she was a small child on her grandparent’s farm. Amy’s teaching focuses on motivating everyone to grow their own food using practical skill building techniques, and emphasizes success, not sophistication.
