* The Vancouver Island Public Interest Research Group (VIPIRG) is an on-campus non-profit organization dedicated to research and action for social and environmental justice. We are located at the University of Victoria, Victoria, BC, in Lekwungen and WSANEC homelands.
* The Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the action-research program, for mentoring students in engaging with local community campaigns and projects, and for supporting local social justice grassroots organizing. An emphasis on process is key, meaning that applicants must value consensus decision-making within an anti-oppression framework.
* VIPIRG is an equal opportunity employer. VIPIRG welcomes the contributions that individuals from marginalized communities bring to our organization, and invites Indigenous people, people of colour, women, trans-identified people, intersexed people, two-spirited people, lesbians, gays, bisexuals, queer people, working class people, single parents, members of ethnic minorities, immigrants, refugees, and people with disabilities to apply.
