Fun Fundraiser For PEERS

The Cheesecake Burlesque Revue is hosting their 4th annual fabulous fundraiser, “Hot Pink”, for PEERS Victoria on October 13, 2012 as part of Homelessness Action week.
PEERS Victoria Resources Society is a registered Canadian charity providing basic resources, employment training, trauma recovery, and supports through street outreach and a drop-in centre for approximately 500 previous and current sex workers. PEERS staff also serve as liaisons between sex workers who have been assaulted and the police to help charge & convict violent offenders in our community.
The Cheesecakes are multiple award winners who have shimmied across stages in Las Vegas, Vancouver, Berlin, Seattle, New Orleans, and Victoria. With influences from film classics like Priscilla Queen of The Desert, to Broadway favourites like Guys and Dolls, these girls know how to put on a modern day show-stopper with dance, non-stop comedy, and audience participation.
The Cheesecakes offer a fun, light-hearted, positive way to support the work of PEERS.
Come to an evening of dazzling entertainment, dance to funky soul beats, bid at the silent auction, savour delicious appetizers, experience a glitter makeover, ham it up in the photo booth, and MORE!!!
