Voice over on iPhone12pro max

Hi,

I have no speech on phone and I don’t think voice Over is loaded on phone.

Is there a direct download link to install voice Over?

I try to turn on phone press volume up then down and nothing.    Hold power and tell to open voice over and nothing. 

I swipe up and it sometimes clicks. 

Any suggestions so appreciated.

 

Is there some generic command I might use to load speech on this phone?

Have you tried a triple click of the side button? What about asking Siri to start VoiceOver? With sighted help, you could also have someone go into settings -> accessibility and turn VoiceOver on.

You now might want to go into Settings -> Accessiblity and make sure the accessibility shortcut is set to VoiceOver. If this is the case then a triple press of the side button will toggle VoiceOver on and off.

On my iphone12 pro I hold down side button and I state open settings.

And settings opens.  .

On iphone12 pro max holding down right button does nothing.

Somehow I found settings and tried to invoke the triple tap.  No good.

I triple tap on side button and weather app is first option.

I do not wish to close iPhone12 pro max until I know I can get voice over to work.

Hope to also find settings.

Any help appreciated.

All fine now.  Triple tap of right side button toggles vO on and off.
