The app & website MeetUp & Next Door are good resources, as long as you aren't looking for just blind specific groups or clubs. I'm not saying there won't be any blind specific groups or clubs, just if there is, there won't be many. To find out about blind specific groups or clubs, check with vocational rehab, they may know or be able to put you on track to finding the info.

Hello Talli and others,

Just a brief note on this thread to remind you and anyone remommending the Matilda Ziegler magazine went out of print in 2009. It may still be somewhere online but any information it contains will be out of date. If it has returned under new management, I'd love to receive it again. I may bewrong but I'm pretty sure it no longer exists.

Peace & Blessings,
Pastor Duane L. Steele

Yes, that's why I asked on the list. Hopefully there are so few blind people, that there are very few clubs…

hi, if you mean specific clubs for the visually impaired then do you know the branch in your area for your national organisation for the blind? as they may be able to guide you. for general clubs try looking at a site called meet up. this site has different social and topic activity groups all over and I know visually impaired people who use them to attend local events. good luck.

I’m sorry, but this seems very off topic to me.

I agree that it’s off topic, but for my part, I’d just hit the delete key since I can’t help the original poster with their question. Depending on why you’re posting this message though, you may want to follow the instructions at the bottom of every post to this list, i.e.

The following information is important for all members of the V iPhone list.

If you have any questions or concerns about the running of this list, or if you feel that a member's post is inappropriate, please contact the owners or moderators directly rather than posting on the list itself.
