From the mid 80s to 2001 he authored several novels with themes of social issues, intrigue in relationships, mercenary motives, greed, betrayal, affairs and conspiracy. These stories contained many plot twists and surprises in the end, and were well received by readers. In the 1990s he was considered the top novelist of the genre. According to his Times of India obituary, his 1992 novel Vardi Wala Gunda "broke all records and sold 15 lakh copies on the very first day of its release",[1] while it reported overall sales of "80 million copies".[2]

Along with detective novels, he also wrote books of social relevance and historical inscriptions. His first popular novel was 'Saanjh Ka Sooraj' based on the 1857 Revolution in the period of last Mughal emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar. In a short span, the talent bore fruit. His novels had created a momentum in the contemporary readers. His readership crossed the boundaries and had admirers in other countries. Late in 1964, he shifted back to Meerut, his native place, to write in peace. He died on 14 October 1998 after prolonged illness.

Sharma was wholeheartedly in awe of Sharat Chandra Chatterji's writings. Chatterji's writing style and the depiction of his characters had an immense impact on Sharma. Though, Om Prakash Sharma wrote populist detective novels, he had the acumen of writing good quality contemporary and historical literature as well as poetry. He had keen interest in Indian classical music. He was very fond of Nirguni bhajans hymns recital by Kumar Gandharva and many more Indian Classical Singers.

He authored some four or five novels featuring 'Bhootnath' as his tribute to the legendary Devaki Nandan Khatri. He also named his imaginary colony, official residence of personnel of 'Kendriya Khufia Vibhag' as 'Bhootnath Colony'.[1]

After writing for many publishing houses, he started to write for his own publication Janpriya Prakashan ".[2]. Many of his novels were huge hit at a time, when television as a medium of entertainment was not so common. Though, he received several offers to write for Hindi feature films, he denied, as he apprehended the material life and loved his slow peaceful but creative life.

Film producer Prakash Mehra's financer, Satyen Pal Chaudhary from Meerut, decided to make a film on his novel Dhadkan and invited him to Mumbai. He denied, but gave permission for the film since the film was being directed by Basu Chatterjee whom he highly admired. Chatterjee came to Meerut and narrated him the screenplay.[3]The feature film Chameli Ki Shaadi with Anil Kapoor in the lead role was made based on his novel and is often broadcast on TV channels.

Popular Hindi novelist Ved Prakash Sharma, counted among the highest-selling Hindi writers in the country, died on Friday in Meerut. According to his family members, the 62-year-old writer was not keeping well and had developed an infection that led to his demise.

Famous for novels with unique titles like Dahej Mein Revolver (Revolver as Dowry), Widhva Ka Pati (Husband of a Widow) and Dulhan Maange Dahej (Bride Asks For Dowry), Mr. Sharma started his writing career at the age of 14 and initially ghost written novels for others.

Expert opinion: The current research on nanocrystals for topical drug delivery is highlighting the breakthroughs achieved so far. The output of these research envisages that topical nanocrystals based formulations can be a novel strategy for the drugs which are facing solubility, bioavailability and toxicity concerns.

I must say that my writing is very simple and understandable; because of that, it is read by almost anybody who can read simple Hindi. My readership has been pretty diverse and is across people of all classes. Students and housewives besides those who travel a lot, including all kinds of sales agents, form a big chunk of my readership. Now I also have young readers who heard about the famous novels and read them in the form of e-books.

What is it with the peculiar and rather sensational titles of your novels? Just to name a few, Dahej Me Revolver (Revolver In Dowry) ,Widhva Ka Pati (Husband of a Widow) and Dulhan Maange Dahej (Bride Asks For Dowry).

Born on June 10, 1955 in Meerut city of Uttar Pradesh, India, he started his career as a ghost writer. After penning down as many as 23 novels, he got credit as a writer for the novel Dahekte Shaher in the year 1973. His other books which broke records and added to his popularity included Qaidi No 100 and Vardi Wala Gunda.

Based on the previous report [10, 11], we performed NGS of the Nepal120 strain (average sequencing depth was 249.8 and overall %GC was 39.0). Nonetheless, we could not obtain ackA and rnc from NGS data. Using strain 26695 and the control MNZ-sensitive strain Nepal145, we could not identify any mutations in full-length frxA, dppB, rpsU and rps4. In contrast, we revealed missense mutations in the full-length of rdxA at Arg-90, His-97, Pro-106 and Val-111. Moreover, we also confirmed involvement of novel mutated sequences in the form of amino acid substituted at Ala-212, Gln-382, Ile-485 of dppA and Leu-145, Thr-168, Glu-117, Val-121, Arg-221 in dapF.

Based on 23S rRNA sequenced in the 9 CAM-resistant strains exhibited 3 (44.4 %) and 2 (22.2 %) had point mutation specifically on A2143G and A2146G, respectively. In contrast, we identified minimal nucleotide variation on the CAM-sensitive strains. Interestingly, there was no 23S rRNA mutation in four strains with high MIC values (>256 mg/L or more). Based on the previous report [8], we also performed next generation sequencing of the Nepal90, Nepal110, Nepal114 and Nepal145 strains (average sequencing depth was 139.5, 117.3, 127.5, 139.4, respectively and overall %GC was 39.2, 39.0, 38.8, 38.9, respectively). Using strain 26695 and the control CAM-sensitive strain Nepal44, we could not identify any mutations in full-length 23S rRNA. We confirmed the involvement of novel mutated sequences in C113T and G20A of rpl22 and some interest mutations of infB such as G793A, C2669T, G2043T and C2784A (Table 6).

The T2183C and A2223G transformations have been frequently found to be the reason of observed CAM resistance in Asian countries than those in Europe and North America [45]. However, in Nepal we observed the contribution of interest point change on A2143G and A2146G, as previous reports [46, 47]. The A2143G mutation has a much stronger effect than the A2142G and A2142C mutations [46]. Interestingly among several strains with high MIC values (>256 mg/L or more) without 23S rRNA involvement, we confirmed novel mutated sequences in rpl22 and infB in the different position than previous publication [8]. Suggesting that rpl22 and infB mutations might not only result in synergistic effects, but also could be independent causes of CAM resistance. On the other hand, we recognized diverse mutations involving the rdxA and frxA in the large part MNZ-resistant-strains; appear differently in relation to against MNZ-sensitive strains. Additionally, several strains with high MIC values were associated with a framing error in position 18 of frxA that may become a particular mutation site of Nepalese MNZ-resistant strains. Finally, we introduced the novel mutation in dppA and dapF in addition to rdxA mutations but irrespective of frxA and rpsU mutations. Unlike dapF which is associated with biosynthesis of lysine and peptidoglycan [48], dppA has a role in the transportation of dipeptide ATP-binding cassette on a drug efflux pump [11] that eventually lead to MNZ resistance.

To overcome these problems, we suggest a novel modification of the nebulization mask kit (Romsons Pvt Ltd, India) to improve the nebulization in the supine position. For this purpose, we need one catheter mount and one angle piece (Figure 1A). The Hudson mask is detached from the medicine cup, and the proximal part of the angle piece is attached to the distal part of the medicine cup. Then the distal part of the angle piece is attached to the proximal part of the catheter mount. Finally, the distal part of the catheter mount is attached to the Hudson mask to make the final modified version of the nebulization device (Figure 1C).

As news of his death spread, social media was replete with anecdotes about his novels like Honour Killing and Shakahari Khanjar. Writers, known or unknown, wrote memoirs remembering his novel and shared their personal stories about reading them. Some read them hiding in the corner of a room, others under a blanket. There were memories all over.

Ved Prakash Sharma born on 10th June, 1955 was the most popular novelist. 176 novels of Ved Prakash Sharma have been published. Apart from it he has written film script of Khiladi series. Vardi Wala Gunda is the success thriller of Ved Prakash Sharma. More than 8 Crores Copies have been sold till now.

The belt of heartland Hindi pulp fiction is incomplete without the glorious Ved Prakash Sharma. Legend has it that, when several hailed editors and writers were turning to the management and literary intelligence to reach small pockets of readers, this small-town writer from Meerut ruled hearts with his Hindi pulp novels.

Gulshan Nanda widened the genre of Hindi pulp fiction by integrating crime thrillers with romance, and stories set in domestic environments. At a time when readers were gripped with the work of famous novelists like Ibne Safi, he constructed tales around tropes such as the rich and poor, twin brothers, the big city guy and the girl from the village, daughter of a wealthy household in love with a poor guy. These stories attracted massive readership to him.

The current goal of the research is to investigate a mathematical model for chemically reacting nanofluids with Brownian movement and diffusive thermophoretic. The present flow model is articulated with the employ of novel thermophoretic diffusion, Brownian motion considering Au, Ag and Cu nanoparticles with ethylene glycol as base fluid. The basic model equations are changed to a dimensionless non-linear coupled ordinary differential equation adopting the competent similarity variables and then solved implementing Runge-Kutta Fehlberg-45 order numerical quadrature (shooting technique) is utilized. The outcomes obtained for momentum, angular flow rate, energy, and concentration on numerous motion parameters are introduced pictorially. Computed values for the device surface friction, local thermal and mass gradients are tabulated. The outcomes reveal that thermophoresis parameter is favorable to improve the liquid temperature and concentration distribution. The impact of nanoliquid reacting species reduced the nanoparticle concentration entirely in the stretching plate. Furthermore, computed outcomes are proved for restraining cases by comparison with numerous surveys and found outstanding accuracy.
