In Armored Core 4, the Arena is called "Simulator". The player faces off against 39 enemy NEXTs affiliated with different companies, with the exception of Amazigh and Sus. Lynx is a 4WD eggbeater spinner with a highly effective beater bar made by Iba Labs that has many titles to its name. It had electrical gremlins at its first competition, but powered through those issues and beat members of the former beetleweight elite (Unknown Avenger and Turbodog) to win the competition. Lynx then competed at Robothon 2019 and swept it. It then swept October Obliteration 2019, DTLA Mini Maker Faire Bash, and Sparklecon 2020. It then fought at Motorama where it continued its rampage only to be stopped by members of the beetleweight old guard, Thunder Child and Weta. Lynx then continued its roll at November Necrosis 2020 where it fought an older version of itself, the rechristened Valinor, and won. Lynx then entered the NHRL in the last qualifying month of November and managed to earn the prestigious title of Golden Dumpster holder by beating Norwalk royalty, Shreddit Bro, and another 4WD vertical beater, Rival. That tournament win guaranteed Lynx a place in the NHRL December 2020 Finals. Lynx had to battle through Rival, Squishy, Shreddit Bro, and SMEEEEEE before facing down its new rival, Droopy. Lynx won their first encounter, but due to how the brackets worked, Lynx had to fight Droopy again and lost. Now, with one loss each, it was do or die for the last two robots in the 2020 champioship; Lynx and Droopy. Lynx lost the title fight and the title of NHRL Grand Champion went to Droopy after a three minute slugfest that left both combatants limping by the end. Even though Lynx lost, it would be cemented as one of the kings of the modern Beetleweight class by many. Lynx' 2021 Norwalk debut marked the beginning of metal wheel experimentation as one of Lynx' sets of wheels were metal with teeth for better grip on the wooden floor of the Norwalk arena. Lynx was also fully decked out with sponsor logos this time around. Lynx did a lot worse this time, going 4-2 and not even placing on the podium. Lynx reclaimed its mojo with a completely orange beater as well as an undefeated 5-0 champioship run at Smashbotz 2021. Lynx then qualified for the NHRL 2021 finals with a clean sweep in November. Lynx then cruised to victory at the NHRL 2021 Finals where it was crowned the NHRL 2021 Beetleweight Grand Champion. Lynx started 2022 with a new weapon for a last-minute beetleweight sportsman tournament that it swept and won. Lynx then continued its competition win streak at NHRL April 2022 where it swept the tournament despite a rare loss to Spartan.
