If you haven't gotten an answer for this yet, try installing the O2 Micro Integrated Card reader, I battled for ours reading about the Intel rapid store driver bring the issue. In this case i think it is not, see link below:
I am having issues as well, and am not an expert but I haven't been able to locate the driver for the following items either. I am using Windows 7 64 bit on a Dell Latitude E6420. Any help would be great, I am trying to get this running for my daughter to take to school. Thanks in advance!
Try this for the storage drivers -e6420?driverId=KC9W0&fileid=2731102815 and then for the others go to support.dell.com put in your service tag and find the finger reader drivers. You may not have a finger print reader, but some times dell machines still want the driver.
Would you happen to know why the system is showing only 3.88 Gig of RAM is usable when it is a 64 bit OS? I wanted to increase the RAM to 8 Gig but don't want to waste the money if there is some reason it won't work. Is there something I have to set in the BIOS? Again thank you for the help.
Sometimes, due to the type of graphics processor the laptop has, memory has to be allocated from the available physical ram for it. This is most likely the reason why you see 3.88GB instead of the full 4GB. Adding more ram would not be an issue and would be definitely seen by the OS, you would just have access to 7.88 instead of 8GB which would not impact on the system's overall performance.
