Hi, I never used autocad architecture with 3d tools. I am a revit user and wonder, Autocad Architecture is a BIM software or not. Coz it has also intelligent objects and paremeters. But im not sure about collobortaion, central file etc. What is the difference Revit & Autocad Architecture within BIM context?
You could just simply close the geometry in SU by drawing a line from one end of the profile to the other. I believe that if you set up blocks in autocad they will come in as components in SU but you would still have to close the geometry in order to create a surface.
thank you for your answer! I tried to copy it over to a acad3D preset and it worked. Its very smooth now. I hope it stays the same cause in the sample dwg from autocad, it was also a little bit laggy.
Good day, I was trying to get my version of autocad working when I noticed I can't draw in model space in all six side views like how I can in the classes. (I was told importing a profile would automatically set it up. but that's not the case.) What magic do I need to do so as to not have the UCS move at all, Or am I stuck working on the computers in college for the rest of my working days?
