Started with SetFSB because it's very easy to use. When i set the FSB from the stock
333mhz to 400mhz the system seems to run perfectly stable but i noticed a weird issue.
Some games seemed to run sped up. I confirmed my suspicions by comparing the windows stopwatch
to my phones and it indeed ran 20% too fast (333mhz > 20% > 400mhz for your information).

Clarification: LGA775 motherboards are smart enough to have a seperate clock from the fsb speed. But many programs use the fsb as a clock. Normally this isn't a problem because the clock on the fsb is set relative to the speed of the fsb at boot. But if you change the fsb speed after boot in windows, the clock speed isn't recalibrated and runs as fast as your overclock. This causes many programs to run faster than they should (which would be prefferable for productivity software, but not for games). The actual seperate clock IS used by windows for time and date, which is why I haven't had an issue with time and date drifting, but I have had an issue with in game time drifting.

First of all Ryzen 5 3600 Gigabyte rtx 2060 Msi mpg x570 Seasonic 650 80+plat 16gb ram Alright so,i tried overclocking my gpu and after i blue screened at 120 core and 900 memory i decided to go back to 60 core and 600 memory.Thing is after that windows started crashing and restarting on their own asking to be repaired. My PC keeps restarting and half the times windows will ask to be repaired and the other half windows will open and crash after a minute or so.

What happens if you open 1 window of old correctly working cpuz (leave open), then open the new required version. Does it show correctly? If yes then you can open rest of cpuz windows you need, then close the old version and take your screen shot. This is a trick that fixed weird issue with AFD on mocf for kabylake. No idea if it will work for you but worth a shot.

Anyway, I've tested the mobo/Sempron/RAM bundle and it works. The 6800 gfx card hasn't arrived yet, so I just shoved in an nVidia 440 AGP (can't find my FX5200!), and went ahead and installed windows 98.

During the windows 98 SE installation, I kept getting strange "file system" related problems. Before I installed win98, I enabled the "Top Performance" option inside the BIOS set up area. When I enabled this BIOS option, a warning appeared saying something like "might be OK for Windows NT, might not be for XP." (Words to that effect.) After getting these strange file access related problems, I set this option back to Disabled. I think that has fixed the problem, cos I haven't seen any more strange file access problems.

I wanted to see if I could receive support for my issue with my laptop. I have had my Alienware M17x R3 for years and I upgraded to the i7-2960XM years ago after buying the PC. I was able to enable the overclock features in the bios and using the intel tuning utility 2.1 version, I had no issues changing multipliers and voltage on processor and ram memory. The PC came with Windows 7 Pro, I currently have windows 10 Pro. I have a unlocked bios and again this feature overclocked fine. I haven't been gaming but I want to check some settings and I tried to open the tuning utility with the current version from the website. All the options to change multipliers and voltage are grayed out. As shown in my 2 pics. Please help me get access to the features again. I tried resetting Bios defaults and re-enabling overclocking. I tried old tuning version 2.1 but it wont run, then I tried current version to have everything blocked. I bought the extreme core to raise the power of PC, if I cant use overclocking, I'm just using it at defaults. Please someone assist me.
